between shooting schedules, upcoming thanksgiving holidays and christmas parties, and the producer's as-of-yet-unconfirmed january travels obligations and what not, the choice has been made to hold off on the BETRAYAL screening party until january 2013. so, yes, if you kindly supported this endeavor (a fake tv show playing in the background of a scene in PLM) via money, talent, or both -- keep an ear and eye out for the event announcement in a month or so for the JANUARY EVENT!
meanwhile, i have completed a first draft of a slimmer version of the script to reign in a few degrees of the original's expensive ambition. now, instead of a large male strip club with flashy production numbers et al, the contagion starts its world-threatening spread at a male "live underwear modeling" shack on the seedy side of town. this naturally brings down the budget ( and any socially redemptive qualities the film may have) even further. gotta love it!
